We'd noticed a huge gap in usage of one of our main data sets, to understand what was causing this we went to the users and asked. We found that the way the data was presented wasn't adequate for the kinds of planning and projecting this persona did. Since the product had only been live for a few months this kind of feedback was exactly what the product team was looking for to expand our product.

I designed and ran 2 usability tests for the Future Leads Analytics view, and the new Commenting feature inside leads. Both features were newly added functionality for our platform that stemmed from repetitive user feedback and preliminary user research.

It was on the roadmap to extend an analysis feature to the Planned Projects section of our platform. Because the problems being solved in both areas of the platform were exceptionally similar, it was my hope that the majority of the UI would be reusable between the two sections. This would give our users a consistent experience across the platform, we'd be able to use UI elements that were already vetted in our usability study, and because the components had already been developed by users we'd be able to quickly switch plugs on data set, and make a few changes and have a completely new feature ready to release with a minimal development effort.

I created a complete Sketch and FramerJS library for our designers built on the patterns and components defined in the S&G site for developers. Now Designers can efficiently design, iterate,  and build prototypes of varying levels of fidelity in a consumable and predictable manner for their Dev & PM counterparts.

We evolved our static and wordie component and pattern documentation into an interactive sandbox that collaborated with the Development Framework. 

NetVU is a conference where the Network of Vertafore users gather together to learn about Vertafore Products and share knowledge. The design team hosts the Design Lab, where we meet with users to have one on one face time with our users and gather invaluable feedback.

Vertafore PolicyIssuance, data from management systems is pre-filled into form sets minimizing errors and omissions. I took a look at this system to identify ways to increase revenue, and reduce customer servicing issues during set-up and maintenance. 

We explored what a new rating system could be, and wondered how customized we could make the experience.
