Problem:
HCDE Students and Faculty are currently struggling with the room meeting reservation system in Sieg Hall, as it is difficult to use and a frustration for the staff to keep updated.
Question:
How can we create a more efficient room reservation system that is more accessible to its users?
Motivation:
We hope to design, prototype and implement a dynamic system that eliminates the aforementioned frustrations and inefficiencies. Contribute to the redesign of Sieg Hall and the HCDE space.
availa[board] receives honorable mention at 2015 HCDE Capstone open house
My team, Sreedev Sidharthan, Daniel Aldridge, Bonny Rivers, and myself designed and developed Availa[board] a new room schedule display system to be used by HCDE students and faculty for the meeting rooms in Sieg Hall. We received an honorable mention as voted by students, faculty and staff who attendaed the 2015 HCDE Capstone Open House.
